Where has 2019 gone? It seems like just yesterday we were ringing in the new year, and now here we are, headed into the holidays again. And yet, despite that “blink-and-you-miss-it” feeling, 2019 was a year of incredible accomplishments for the Gotransverse team, and I want to take a moment to pause and reflect, lest we lose sight of our achievements in the year-end hustle and bustle.

First and foremost, we were thrilled to welcome several significant new customers to the Gotransverse family, including two of Australia’s top companies - Telstra’s nationwide mobile and broadband provider Belong and global toll road leader Transurban - unified communications leader 8x8, a new joint venture of AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon behind ZenKey, and more. As we’ve grown our customer base, we’ve also expanded our global footprint, with a new data center in Sydney, Australia, and a new production environment in Frankfurt, Germany. These new facilities will improve our ability to compete in the global market. Still, more importantly, they’ll help us meet the unique billing needs, regulatory requirements, and growth goals of our customers across the world.

As Forrester quoted in The Forrester WaveTM: SaaS Billing Solutions, Q4 2019, “A big focus for the company is globalization. It recently opened data centers in Australia and Germany to support its Asia Pacific and European expansions. Gotransverse targets customers where high-volume usage or consumption is a core part of the business model.”

As we’ve continued to dedicate ourselves to helping customers achieve growth, we’ve also added several new features to our intelligent billing platform to meet ever-evolving needs and give customers a powerful competitive advantage. In April, we launched Premier Data Access, helping clients seamlessly integrate billing and revenue data with reports from other third-party systems in their back-office networks. In June, we completed our Workday Approved Integration, empowering customers to manage large volumes of billing data better and simplifying billing management — including one-time, subscription, or consumption-based pricing — with richer analytics and without requiring additional customizations. And throughout the year, we’ve worked closely with communication service providers to help them develop new business models to capitalize on and monetize emerging technologies like 5G and IoT.

And, like last year, we’ve been humbled and honored to see all our hard work validated in a variety of analyst recaps:

  • Top-ranked billing management company in this year’s Forrester Wave report
  • IDC Marketscape Leader
  • Recurring Revenue Management Vendor in the Gartner Hype Cycle
  • #1 Enterprise Product in MGI’s Agile Billing Solution Buyer’s Guide

We were also named to the Constellation ShortList of Smart Services Digital Monetization Platforms for the fourth consecutive time, we received the CNP Award for Best Subscription/Recurring Billing Program, and the INTL Global Excellence Award as Leader in Recurring Billing Automation Solutions.

In all, 2019 has been another banner year for Gotransverse, and we’re incredibly proud of all we’ve accomplished. But we couldn’t have done any of it without our incredible team and our fantastic relationships with our customers. Though we’re thrilled to be the leading intelligent billing platform on the market, we know that what matters most is the opportunity we’ve given to partner with so many incredible brands, organizations, and people. We are honored to play even a small part in helping you achieve your business goals — we do what we do so that we can empower our customers to grow, scale, and expand into new offerings and markets in ways they never thought possible. Our success is grounded entirely in your success. Thank you for letting us be a part of that. And a very special thanks to our talented, tireless employees around the globe for making all of this possible.

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday season and a prosperous new year!
