Strategic Alliances Manager

We are hiring an energetic, highly motivated, individual with a can-do attitude who enjoys networking and establishing relationships to join our team as Partnerships & Alliances Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial and strategic relationships with organizations in accordance with our company's overarching goals, objectives, and strategy. Gotransverse is a fast-moving, award-winning leader in Agile Monetization. We are a Software-as-a-Service company providing monetization solutions for all industries. We are an aggressively growing enterprise that works closely with partners across the Order-to-Cash ecosystem to identify and drive mutual sales opportunities and joint solutions that meet the needs of our customers and industries at large. In this role, you will leverage your technical skills, industry knowledge, and communications skills to help extend Gotransverse’s sales effort and market reach.

Location:

Gotransverse is headquartered in Austin, TX. While employees are encouraged to work in collaboration with other Gotransverse team members in our office, we respect the individual’s needs or wishes to work remotely.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Identifying and establishing new alliances

  • Contribute to the identification of new opportunities for expanding business and drive the working relationships with Partners
  • During the pre-contract stage, develop and maintain strong relationships and communication with Partners to facilitate translation of expectations and needs into actions and deliverables from each side of the relationship
  • Work with Gotransverse Solution Architects to define reference architectures as needed for technology partners
  • Work with Gotransverse Head of Sales to define go to market plans and sales pursuits with partners.

Managing and growing alliances

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the selected Partners, their pipelines and strategies, actively engaging Partners to strategically position business opportunities working at the appropriate level in the Partner’s organization
    • Serve as the point-of-contact for Partner (and internally) for escalation and resolution of issues
    • Adhere to deadlines and ensure delivery of goals are met with exceptional performance criteria through collaboration with the Gotransverse Sales, Product, and Operational teams
    • Support and challenge the Sales and Product teams to ensure solutions fulfill the Partner’s needs and expectations
    • Monitor and report financial information, internal status updates, phase timelines, milestones, and future needs to senior management, on a quarterly basis
    • Anticipate, investigate, resolve, and communicate issues with contract deliverables to partners
  • Organize and chair regular Governance meetings and ensure full alignment with Partners on strategy and delivery of goals
  • Actively engage with existing Partners and to identify potential business opportunities

Qualifications:

  • You have a diploma/degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration
  • You have 7+ years’ experience in Direct Sales, Channel Sales, Marketing, or Program Management
  • You have prior experience in a similar role and a strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships
  • You have experience working with senior stakeholders to find win-win solutions
  • You are highly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem solver
  • You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • You demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) would be a plus
  • Technical experience with APIs, interoperability, and architecture design is a plus

Reporting:

The position for Strategic Alliances Manager will report to the Head of Sales.
