Other TRACT® Winter ‘16 Release Features: Enhancements for Fine-Tuning Revenue Recognition, Improved Multi-Currency Support, Additional Customization Options for Client Notifications

Austin, Texas – January 12, 2016Gotransverse, the award-winning leader in innovative monetization solutions, announced new capabilities for TRACT®, its cloud-based subscription and usage-based billing platform. In the latest release, available now, the SaaS billing platform enhanced custom configuration of detailed financial reporting integrations, added new abilities to accept custom payment gateways and improved entitlement support.

“TRACT is leading the cloud billing market with Internet-scale, purpose-built Consumption-to-Cash™ functionality, specifically in the area of General Ledger (GL) revenue recognition configurability,” explained James Messer, Founder and CEO of Gotransverse. “Our latest product enhancements extend this functionality to address the unique needs of global businesses, with improvements to revenue reporting, payment processing, and entitlement support.”

In the Winter ’16 release Gotransverse added several features to the robust financial and revenue recognition configurability in TRACT. In response to growing market need to support international business, TRACT added support for multiple conversion currencies within the GL. Now, you can customize GL reporting currency from directly within the platform. Other financial enhancements include greater flexibility in backdating the application of manual payments and payment cancellations, more functionality around scheduled one-time and recurring charges, as well as expanded support of additional international currencies.

To help speed time to cash for its users, TRACT also added a custom payment gateway that processes payments internally. In addition, new custom fields were added to track critical reporting data on specific payment transactions.

TRACT Winter ’16 release also expanded the extensibility and configurability of usage rates via the platform’s Application Program Interface (API). To support a growing need of innovative Internet of Things (IoT) business models, TRACT now supports rating for device identifiers on multiple services, allowing users to rate the same identifier used on an upcoming service and still rate usage events on the old service.

Enhancements were also made to help TRACT users improve overall customer experience for their clients. With new features added to the customizable Action Framework, users can now configure custom notifications for a variety of new triggers, including failed payment notifications. In addition, all of the enabled service custom fields are now available for notifications so more information about services and agreements can be included in customer notifications.

Other improvements included in the Winter ’16 release of TRACT include additional support for images on account categories, enhanced search and filter capabilities for bill cycles and payment transactions, as well as various hardware and security upgrades.
