The Challenge
Quisitive bills customers for prepaid monthly consultant hours. Some unused hours roll over to the next
month; others expire and get recognized as revenue, and tracking that by hand was a heavy, error-prone lift every billing
cycle.
Turn Manual Processes Into Automated, Repeatable Steps
GT Workflow (GT-W) lets teams design the processes behind billing and revenue operations, approvals, notifications, data capture, and system handoffs, and run them automatically every time. Build a process in a visual editor, add the logic for each step, and deploy it. From there, a new instance can start on demand, on a schedule, or through an API, right inside the Gotransverse platform.
Billing and revenue teams still lean on manual handoffs to get things done: chasing approvals over email, re-keying data between systems, or tracking the latest version in a spreadsheet. Those extra steps slow down invoicing, introduce errors, and make it difficult to scale as volume grows.
GT Workflow replaces ad hoc processes with defined steps that run the same way every time, so nothing gets missed and nothing depends on someone remembering to do it manually. In some cases, it also removes the need to buy a separate workflow engine just to connect billing and revenue systems together.
No custom code required. Design a workflow by mapping out its steps.
Capture and display exactly the data each step needs.
Automatically send an email the moment a task is assigned.
Assign a task to someone outside Gotransverse. They can update its status through a secure link.
Call outside systems directly from a workflow step through REST APIs.
Runs on BPMN 2.0, the industry standard workflow tools use. That makes workflows easier to build, maintain, and hand off, and easier for AI tools to generate.
Use AI to generate a workflow and get started faster, or have a step call an outside AI tool as part of the process.
GT Workflow extends invoice approvals beyond the basics. Route an invoice to the right reviewers, including outside customer contacts who approve through a secure link, or chain approvals across internal teams and third-party systems. Anyone can reject with notes, and once everyone signs off, the invoice finalizes and goes out automatically.
Orchestrate a billing cycle across Gotransverse and third-party systems, from bill run through payment collection, with no manual handoffs. Unlike a one-way webhook, GT Workflow waits for a response from the external system and adjusts automatically, confirming payments or routing failures to a retry path.
Some customer agreements call for bill cycles that don't fit a standard schedule, such as negotiated billing dates, milestone-based invoicing, or terms unique to a single contract. GT Workflow manages these custom schedules account by account, driven by the terms of each, and automatically creates and starts the invoice run when it's due.
GT Workflow chains the steps needed to close billing, reconciliations, approvals, and postings, so the close runs the same way every month without manually tracking status across systems.
When a customer's contract changes, a new add-on, a pricing change, or an extended term, GT Workflow routes the amendment through the approvals, updates the billing setup to match, and keeps a record of what changed and when. Nothing bills on the new terms until the amendment is signed off.
When a customer starts to cancel, GT Workflow will pause the cancellation on a timer and automatically offer them a promotional or adjusted plan to win them back, no rep intervention required.
Quisitive bills customers for prepaid monthly consultant hours. Some unused hours roll over to the next
month; others expire and get recognized as revenue, and tracking that by hand was a heavy, error-prone lift every billing
cycle.
GT Workflow runs in the background to handle that rollover and expiration logic automatically, something Quisitive couldn't do before.
Less manual overhead, less revenue leakage, and billing that Quisitive can stand behind.
GT Workflow automation turns manual billing and revenue steps, like approvals, notifications, and data handoffs, into a defined, repeatable process instead of one that depends on someone doing it by hand. GT Workflow builds this directly into the Gotransverse platform, so no separate automation tool is required.
GT Workflow is a built-in automation engine that lets Gotransverse customers design, run, and monitor the processes behind their billing and revenue operations, approvals, notifications, data capture, and system handoffs, without writing custom code.
BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation) is the industry-standard notation for modeling business processes as a flow of steps and decisions. GT Workflow is built on BPMN 2.0, which makes workflows portable, easier to hand off between teams, and easier for AI tools to read and generate.
Yes. Because GT Workflow is built on the BPMN 2.0 standard, AI tools can generate an initial workflow definition directly, and a workflow step can also call an outside AI tool as part of its process.
Two common examples are automated invoice approval, routing an invoice for review before it finalizes, and billing cycle sequencing, chaining a bill run, payment processing, GL posting, and ERP transfer into one automatic sequence. See more use case examples above.
