Austin, TX – July 7, 2015Gotransverse announced today that they have enlisted a 23-year technology and business leader as President. The Austin-based company said it has hired former National Instruments Corp. (Nasdaq: NATI) executive Michael Beamer as President. Beamer will be responsible for leading the company’s focus on developing and delivering key capabilities that extend the TRACT® platform’s functionality for its clients.

His leadership has resulted in numerous awards for his teams including winners of the IT Solution of the Year Award for Austin as well as one of the top web-based support sites in the world.

As a business leader, he has played a crucial role in building out highly successful new revenue models for fast growing corporations. Additionally, he has been on the leading edge of business models and solutions focused on the Internet of Things (IoT). He will leverage this expertise as Gotransverse leads the charge into IoT billing.

Beamer is an active member of the Austin community and serves on numerous advisory councils for the University of Texas at Austin as well as the Austin InnoTech Technology Council. As an avid supporter of STEM (Science and Technology, Engineering and Math) in education, he helped to establish FLL Robotics in elementary education for his community.
