Austin, TX - July 10, 2013 - Gotransverse announces that Mobile Link(TM), an integrated cellular remote monitoring service that allows automatic standby generator customers to know their generator will be ready when they need it, has implemented the TRACT® usage-based billing and subscription management platform to address the company's complex billing needs.
Mobile Link works with Generac, Honeywell, Eaton, Siemens and Centurion automatic standby generators. When the generator experiences a change in status, Mobile Link sends an update to StandbyStatus.com, which forwards that information via website, email or text message -- automatically. Mobile Link is using TRACT® Billing's advanced billing portal to manage customer subscription details, including renewal tracking information and ensuring that customers' transactional details are protected and PCI compliant.
"It is critical for our customers to know their generators are functioning properly and will be ready to provide backup power when customers need them to." said Sean Miller, director of sales for Mobile Link. "Gotransverse is the company we trust to manage our intricate subscription and renewal process. Integrating the Mobile Link and TRACT® platforms will provide our customers with an industry-leading, secure and automated billing solution suited to their individual needs."
TRACT® Billing is integrated with the service's existing financial software suite, providing full customer support from account management to invoicing and payments. Benefits include:
- Accurate, real-time view of customer activity and data across all back-end systems
- Accommodation of complex billing plans, including one-time purchases, recurring fees, usage-based charges, and volume discounts
- Assurance that cardholder details remain safe and secure using TRACT's PCI DSS Level 1 compliant application
"Mobile Link has a complex billing model and Gotransverse is working closely with the team there to build a customized solution that accommodates their pricing model and customer preferences," said James Messer, co-founder, president, and CEO at Gotransverse. "We are excited to partner with them and contribute to their success."
About Mobile Link
The Mobile Link(TM) remote monitoring system lets automatic standby generator customers check in on their generator at anytime and from anywhere using their computer, tablet, or smartphone. The Mobile Link transmitter sends generator data via cellular network to StandbyStatus.com, from which customers can see if their generator is currently running, when and for how long it has run in the past, and if their generator requires maintenance or is experiencing a fault condition. Mobile Link and StandbyStatus.com can also proactively send text-based alerts to up to four e-mail addresses and up to four mobile phone numbers. Customers have the option to include their dealer's e-mail or mobile phone number so that the dealer can discuss maintenance and repair options with them as soon as possible.
