We were honored to wrap up 2020 on the Austin American Statesman’s Top Workplaces 2020 list. We are also thrilled to share that 2021 is off to an equally auspicious start, as Built In Austin, the hub for Austin tech and startups, has named Gotransverse one of its 2021 Best Places to Work for midsize companies.

Winners of these annual awards are determined based on an algorithm that uses company data about compensation, benefits, and cultural programs to identify which companies possess the essential attributes sought after by candidates. This year, to capture the cultural and societal issues top of mind for job seekers, the program weighted criteria like remote opportunities and programs for diversity, equity, and inclusion more heavily than in recent years.

The Gotransverse team is thrilled to have been chosen, and we’re humbled by the incredible company we keep on the 2021 list.

“These companies raise the bar for cultural excellence and the ability to adapt to meet changing needs of employees. The 2021 winners show a commitment not just to creating meaningful cultures but to delivering talent needs as they change in a dynamic landscape. We’re thrilled to extend our congratulations to the winners.” - Sheridan Orr, Chief Marketing Officer, Built In

Without our world-class team, we know that nothing we have achieved or will achieve would ever be possible. So, we pride ourselves on championing a business plan and a company culture that put people first. In a typical year, that culture would be evident when you walk into our beautiful central office, twenty-eight stories above downtown, and designed for close collaboration. But this year, as for so many businesses, putting employees first meant something very different: it meant vacating that office we love so much and continuing to work together while staying as far apart as possible.

The stay-at-home orders, public health concerns, and political and economic upheaval certainly posed many personal and professional challenges. However, we have been continuously inspired to see our company culture's intangible elements — the camaraderie, the team spirit, the creativity, and the resilience — keep us moving forward. Recognition like the Built in Austin award is a wonderful way to validate something we’ve long known at Gotransverse: When it comes to our employees and our culture, we’re doing something right.

“We pride ourselves on hiring the best people and giving them a work environment where they can thrive. Austin is a competitive job market, and awards like the Built In Best Places to Work help us continue to attract the best technology talent out there, which helps us better serve our customers and help the company grow.” - James Messer, Founder and CEO of Gotransverse

At Gotransverse, we’ve provided cloud-based intelligent billing solutions to global customers for more than a decade. We’re obsessed with helping customers grow their businesses by monetizing their subscription and usage-based business models. We believe our work to unlock clients’ earning potential through agility and flexibility is more important now than ever. We enable order-to-cash processing with scalable monetization services, including mediation, rating, billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition, and we measure our success by our customers’ success. In other words, we have high standards and lofty goals for our business, our partners, and our customers. We are fortunate that our team shares those same standards, values, and goals — and is willing to work together to further our mission, no matter how difficult it may seem.

Though we know the trials of 2020 are far from over, we are grateful for many things that give us hope in the new year. Above all, we’re thankful for the incredible employees and leaders who’ve worked so hard to build and maintain the culture and systems that make us one of Austin’s best places to work.
